Welcome to our ‘You said, we did’ blog for May. Hopefully you will have already seen some of these new features within Numerise (and fallen in love with them) but if not, log in now, have a play around and let us know what you think.
What have we been working on?
1. Always making progress
Now every learner can see their progress against individual topics as well as lessons! That means it’s easy to see all of the incredible work they’ve done in Numerise, whether they follow the course or use the Explore page. Even more motivation for learners to finish the topic they’re working on.
2. More bang for your buck
XP is no longer limited to topics and daily challenges! Learners will now get XP for completing the Lesson Quizzes. Remember, more XP means a higher spot on the League Table…
3. All in sync
After listening to your feedback, we’ve moved the weekly progress emails to land in your inbox on a Monday morning rather than a Friday afternoon. That means every question answered in the previous week will be counted and it will align with goals, league tables and competitions – win, win.
4. PreGCSE – short course
Starting GCSE Maths can be daunting but it doesn’t need to be. With the right preparation and a solid grounding in Key Stage 3 skills, learners will be ready to smash tricky GCSE topics in September. Our new short course, PreGCSE, is 12 lessons long and will do exactly that. Discover more here.
5. Did you know?
As learners work through Numerise and parents use their dashboard, they’ll see little facts about Numerise and maths tips so the learning never stops! Have you seen any yet?
What’s coming up?
We are always working on lots of cool new stuff.
XP is still on our minds – we will be looking at even more ways learners can earn and track their points. And, we want to really celebrate with learners when they reach the end of their course so there is more to come in this space (you might just have to get to the end of your course to see what it is!)
Keep it coming
As always, please do send us all of your feedback, suggestions and thoughts – no matter how whacky they may seem (we have probably thought up stranger ideas within the team!) Just email us at [email protected] or fill in this form and you might see a feature based on your feedback here next month!
