Sums for Spring – it’s competition time

Practice really does make perfect and we want to make sure learners keep practising maths throughout April (despite all of the Easter egg hunts and chocolate). So, what better way than to run a competition?

On to the exciting stuff (so, the prizes). We will be crowning not one, not two but 12 winners at the end of this competition. Three winners will be chosen each week and the prizes are:

  1. £100 Amazon voucher and a year-long subscription to Numerise
  2. £30 Amazon voucher and a year-long subscription to Numerise
  3. £20 Amazon voucher and a year-long subscription to Numerise

It’s free to enter and you can take part in just one week or all four weeks – it’s completely up to you.

Once a competition week is complete, we will pick three lucky winners and share the good news with them (this will be on the Monday following the competition week). We will also email all competition entrants, tell the world on social media and pop the winners’ names below here (when we have permission to, of course).

Week one

  1. Year 6 learner
  2. GCSE learner
  3. Yahya, Key Stage 3 learner

Week two

  1. Catrina, GCSE learner
  2. Year 6 learner
  3. Year 6 learner

Catrina’s mum Alison said: “Numerise has really helped my daughter with maths. It reinforces what she is learning in class making sure she has a solid foundation with fluency. She likes that there are explanations so she can avoid asking parents. And we like the bite-size chunks so she can do a little every day.  Her improvement was so dramatic that her teacher commented on it at parents evening.”

Week three

  1. Key Stage 3 learner
  2. Lucy, GCSE learner
  3. Ema, GCSE learner

Lucy said: “I love using numerise! Such a quick and easy way to test my maths knowledge for all my upcoming exams!”

Week four

  1. Ryan, Key Stage 3 learner
  2. Year 6 learner
  3. Penny, GCSE learner

“Ryan is so happy to have won. He has tried many different maths apps/courses and hesays Numerise is the best – easy to follow videos and explanations.” – Ryan’s mum, Wandalee
