Can I train myself to be good at maths?

We’ve all heard the much-used phrase ‘I can’t do maths’ (and possibly more so from parents this year after having to support with learning at home). Maths methods and processes are constantly evolving and the way you might have been taught in school is no longer the go-to solution.
